- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and add to the skillet. Cook until browned on both sides, about 6-7 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce.
- Cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the chicken to absorb some of the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For variations, you can add vegetables like spinach, mushrooms, or sun-dried tomatoes to the sauce, or use different types of cheese like mozzarella or feta for a unique twist. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days and reheat before serving.
