  • 1 graham cracker crust pre-made
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 2-3 drops red food coloring optional
  • 8 oz whipped topping thawed
  • 3-4 candy canes crushed

Method
 

Assembly
  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until it is smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, then mix in the peppermint extract and optional red food coloring.
  3. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is fluffy.
  4. Pour the peppermint mixture into the graham cracker crust and spread it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the crushed candy canes generously over the top of the pie.
  6. Chill the pie for at least 4 hours, or until it is firm, before slicing and serving.

Notes

For an extra festive touch, garnish with a few whole candy canes or a sprig of fresh mint before serving.
