Ingredients
  

For the burger patties
  • 1 lb ground beef Use high-quality beef for better flavor.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic enhances the flavor.
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds a rich flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce Adds depth of flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
For assembly
  • 4 pieces hamburger buns Toast if desired.
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 leaves lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • to taste mayonnaise
  • to taste ketchup

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated but avoid overmixing.
Shaping
  1. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into burger patties with a slight indentation in the center.
Cooking
  1. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  2. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt the cheese.
Assembling
  1. Toast the hamburger buns if desired. Layer lettuce leaves and tomato slices on the bottom half of each bun, then place the cooked burger patty on top.
  2. Spread mayonnaise and ketchup on the inside of the top bun, then place it over the patty to complete the burger.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately with your choice of sides like fries, onion rings, or a fresh salad.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet for best results.
