  • 1 cup Unsalted butter softened
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp Fresh chives chopped
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened butter with minced garlic, chopped parsley, and chives.
  2. Add smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice to the butter mixture.
  3. Season with salt and black pepper, then thoroughly mix all ingredients until well combined and smooth.
  4. Transfer the cowboy butter to a serving dish or roll it into a log using parchment paper, then chill until firm.

Notes

For best results, allow the butter to soften at room temperature before mixing. The flavors deepen if made a few hours ahead.
