  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs Panko
  • 1/2 cup Butter unsalted, melted
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Mixing bowls
  • Whisk
  • Measuring Cups/Spoons

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or spraying with non-stick spray.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine grated Parmesan cheese, Panko breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; mix well to create the crust mixture.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together melted butter and minced garlic.
  4. Dip each chicken breast first into the butter-garlic mixture, ensuring it's fully coated, then press firmly into the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture until thoroughly covered.
  5. Place the crusted chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden brown and crispy.
  6. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving hot.

Notes

For extra crispiness, consider broiling the chicken for the last 1-2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning. Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) before serving.
