Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
- Crush the Oreo cookies and fold them into the mixture.
Assembly
- Pour the mixture into a pie crust.
- Smooth the top and sprinkle crushed Oreo cookies on top for garnish.
Chilling
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
Serving
- Serve chilled. Slice into wedges and plate.
- Add a dollop of whipped cream on top or sprinkle with extra crushed Oreos.
Notes
To store, cover tightly with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and keep in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. For longer storage, freeze it wrapped well to prevent freezer burn.
