Cinnamon Dough
  • 1 cup ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup applesauce unsweetened
  • ½ cup white craft glue optional, for extra durability

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Combine ground cinnamon, applesauce, and optional white craft glue in a large mixing bowl until a firm dough forms.
  2. On a lightly floured surface (use extra cinnamon or cornstarch), roll out the dough to about ¼-inch thickness.
Forming & Baking
  1. Use cookie cutters to create various shapes, then carefully transfer them to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Using a straw or skewer, poke a small hole at the top of each ornament for hanging.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°F (93°C) for 2-3 hours, or until completely dry and hard; alternatively, air dry for 2-3 days, flipping occasionally.
