Ingredients

Truffles
  • 12 cakes Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
Coating & Decoration
  • 12 oz white candy melts
  • 4 oz green candy melts optional, for decoration
  • 2 tbsp Christmas sprinkles or as desired

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Fork or dipping tool

Method

Making the Truffle Base
  1. Crumble the Christmas Tree Cakes into a large mixing bowl until fine.
  2. Add the softened cream cheese to the crumbled cakes and mix thoroughly until a cohesive dough forms.
  3. Roll the mixture into small, bite-sized balls, approximately 1-inch in diameter.
  4. Place the rolled truffles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
Coating and Decorating
  1. Melt the white candy melts according to package directions in a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted white candy, ensuring it is fully coated, then place back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Immediately sprinkle with Christmas sprinkles before the coating sets. If using green candy melts, melt them and drizzle over some truffles for an extra touch.
  4. Chill the finished truffles for another 15-20 minutes, or until the candy coating is completely set.

Notes

For best results, ensure the truffles are well-chilled before dipping to prevent them from falling apart.
