Jello Balls
  • 1 packet red gelatin mix
  • 1 packet green gelatin mix
  • 3 envelopes unflavored gelatin
  • 2 cups hot water divided
  • 1 cup cold water divided
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Whisk
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method

Layering Steps
  1. Dissolve the red gelatin mix in 1 cup of hot water, then stir in 1/2 cup of cold water. Pour a thin layer into molds and chill until just set.
  2. In a separate bowl, dissolve 1 envelope of unflavored gelatin in 1/2 cup of hot water, then stir in the sweetened condensed milk and 1/2 cup of cold water. Pour a thin layer over the set red gelatin and chill.
  3. Dissolve the green gelatin mix in 1 cup of hot water, then stir in 1/2 cup of cold water. Pour a thin layer over the set milk layer and chill.
  4. Repeat the layering process with the remaining gelatin mixtures, ensuring each layer is firm before adding the next. Once all layers are complete, chill the molds for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  5. Carefully unmold the Jello balls and arrange them on a serving platter. Serve chilled for a festive holiday treat.

Notes

Ensure each Jello layer is fully set before adding the next to prevent colors from bleeding. For easier unmolding, briefly dip the bottom of the molds in warm water before flipping them out.
