- Combine cocoa powder, sugar, and salt in the crockpot; whisk thoroughly.
- Gradually whisk in whole milk until smooth, then stir in heavy cream, vanilla, sweetened condensed milk, and chocolate chips.
- Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally, until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is hot and creamy.
- Whisk again before serving warm, optionally garnished with whipped cream or marshmallows.
Notes
For an extra festive touch, add a dash of peppermint extract or a cinnamon stick while it cooks. This hot chocolate can be kept warm on the "warm" setting for up to 2 hours.
