Ingredients

For the yogurt mixture
  • 1.5 cups chopped strawberries Use fresh strawberries for best taste.
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt Substitute with coconut yogurt for dairy-free option.
  • 1 tbsp honey Add more for additional sweetness if desired.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the chocolate coating
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Can substitute with dark chocolate for richer flavor.
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped strawberries, plain Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract thoroughly.
  2. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the yogurt mixture onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet to form clusters, making about 10 clusters.
  3. Place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze for 1-2 hours until completely solid.
Chocolate Coating
  1. Melt the chocolate by adding chocolate chips and coconut oil to a microwave-safe bowl, microwaving in 15-30 second intervals while stirring until fully melted.
  2. Remove the frozen yogurt clusters from the freezer and carefully dip each one in the melted chocolate, using a spoon for even coating.
  3. Place the coated clusters back on the prepared baking sheet. Optional: Sprinkle a little sea salt on top.
  4. Return the clusters to the freezer for a few minutes to let the chocolate harden.

Notes

Store clusters in an airtight container in the freezer for about 1 month, separating layers with parchment paper. Served best straight out of the freezer.
