Ingredients
  

For the chocolate
  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate (Chopped into smaller pieces) Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup heavy cream (Heated until simmering) Make sure the cream is hot enough to melt the chocolate but not boiling.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For added flavor.
For dipping
  • 1 cup fresh fruits (strawberries, bananas, apple slices) Cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • 1 cup marshmallows Regular size.
  • 1 cup pound cake or brownies Cut into bite-sized pieces.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Chop the chocolate into small pieces.
  2. Prepare fruits, marshmallows, and cake or brownies by cutting them into bite-sized pieces.
Cooking
  1. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it starts to simmer. Do not let it boil.
  2. Once simmering, remove the saucepan from the heat. Add the chopped chocolate to the cream and let it sit for a minute.
  3. Stir the mixture gently until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
Serving
  1. Pour the chocolate mixture into a fondue pot or a heat-safe bowl.
Maintenance
  1. If using a fondue pot, keep it on low heat to maintain warmth. If not served immediately, warm it gently as needed.
Enjoying
  1. Dip your fruits, marshmallows, or cake pieces into the warm chocolate using forks or skewers.

Notes

You can add a splash of flavored liqueur like orange or raspberry for extra taste. Make variations by using white or dark chocolate, or even adding spices like cinnamon or chili powder.
