Preparation
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prepare your workspace.
- Melt the milk or dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until completely smooth.
- Dip each dry strawberry into the melted chocolate, covering about two-thirds, then place it on the prepared baking sheet.
Decorating
- While the chocolate is still wet, attach two candy eyes near the tip of each strawberry.
- Gently press three pieces of candy corn into the back of each strawberry's chocolate coating to form the feathers.
- Melt the white chocolate, then use a toothpick or small piping bag to create small orange sprinkles or candy for the beaks and feet on the turkeys.
Finishing
- Chill the turkeys in the refrigerator until the chocolate is fully set, which should take about 15-20 minutes, before serving.
Notes
For best results, ensure strawberries are completely dry before dipping in chocolate. You can use different colored candies or sprinkles for varied "feather" designs.
