Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 head Cabbage shredded
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Ginger grated
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 2 stalks Green Onions sliced, for garnish

Equipment

  • Large Skillet or Wok
  • Small Bowl
  • Whisk
  • Spatula

Method

Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water to create the sauce.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, then add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart and draining excess fat.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add shredded cabbage to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until it begins to soften.
  5. Pour the prepared sauce over the beef and cabbage, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens and coats all ingredients. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot.

Notes

For extra spice, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes along with the garlic and ginger.
