- In a large pot, melt the butter and peanut butter together over low heat until smooth.
- Stir in the cherry pie filling.
- Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the rice cereal into the mixture and stir until well coated.
- In a separate bowl, place the powdered sugar.
- Using a spoon or spatula, transfer the coated cereal into the bowl with powdered sugar and shake until completely covered.
- Melt the white chocolate chips and drizzle over the coated puppy chow.
- Let it cool and set before serving.
Notes
Store Cherry Cheesecake Puppy Chow in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Keep away from moisture for best texture. For a crunchy topping, consider adding crushed graham crackers.
