Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) Can use a blend of cheeses.
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped Plus extra for garnish.
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Open the biscuit dough and separate it into individual biscuits.
  4. Flatten each biscuit in your palm, add a spoonful of shredded cheese in the center, and wrap the dough around it, sealing it completely.
  5. Place the cheese-filled biscuits on a baking sheet.
  6. Brush the garlic butter mixture over the top of each biscuit.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Serving
  1. Serve warm and enjoy! Optionally, pair with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Make sure to seal the biscuit dough well around the cheese to avoid leakage while baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-10 minutes. Consider adding cooked bacon bits, jalapeños, or spinach for extra flavor.
