- Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cooking
- In a large skillet or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and ginger, sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Add the sliced beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes.
- Stir in the mixed vegetables and cook for another 3 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, followed by soy sauce and oyster sauce.
- Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
To store Beef Chow Mein, let it cool completely. Place it in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Reheat in a microwave or in a pan over low heat. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor, and don't overcook the vegetables to keep them crunchy. Variations include adding shrimp or chicken, or changing the vegetables.
