  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 4 beef hot dogs
  • 1 cup chili
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 onion, diced
Optional Toppings
  • Mustard or ketchup Optional
  • Fresh cilantro For garnish, optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop.
  2. Cook the beef hot dogs on the grill or in a pan until heated through.
  3. While the hot dogs are cooking, heat the chili in a separate saucepan.
Assembly
  1. Once the hot dogs are cooked, place each hot dog in a bun.
  2. Spoon the warm chili over each hot dog.
  3. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and diced onion.
  4. Optionally, drizzle mustard or ketchup over the top.
  5. Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

You can store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat the chili and hot dogs before reassembling.
