Meatball Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef You can substitute with ground turkey or other meats.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Use plain or Italian-style breadcrumbs.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated works best.
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley Fresh parsley is recommended.
  • 1 each egg Helps bind the mixture together.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce Choose your favorite BBQ sauce.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust to preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  4. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  2. In a saucepan, heat BBQ sauce over medium-low heat.
  3. Add the cooked meatballs to the sauce and stir to coat.
Serving
  1. Serve warm as an appetizer or over rice as a dinner.

Notes

Make sure to mix the ingredients well for even flavor. Adjust seasoning as desired. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Can be frozen.
