  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Preparation
  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs.
  3. Sear the chicken breasts for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden.
  4. Transfer the chicken to the crockpot.
  5. In a bowl, mix the minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, chicken broth, and heavy cream.
  6. Pour this mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  2. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and mix it into the sauce.
  3. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the garlic and seasoning mixture for a few hours before cooking. Consider adding vegetables, such as spinach or broccoli, to the crockpot to make it even more nutritious. If you prefer a thicker sauce, you can add a cornstarch slurry during the last hour of cooking.
