  • 2 Apple medium, e.g., Granny Smith or Honeycrisp
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp Granulated Sugar
  • 0.5 tsp Cornstarch optional, for crispiness
  • 1 tbsp Melted Butter or Coconut Oil optional, for richer flavor

Method
 

Preparation & Cooking
  1. Core and slice the apples into fry-like sticks, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the sliced apples with cinnamon, sugar, and optional cornstarch and melted butter/oil, tossing until evenly coated.
  3. Place the coated apple fries in a single layer in your air fryer basket. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until tender and slightly caramelized.
  4. Serve immediately, optionally with caramel sauce or your favorite dip.

Notes

For extra crispiness, ensure apples are dry before coating. Adjust sugar and cinnamon to your taste. Try different apple varieties for varying sweetness and texture.
